Implementing Change is Important.

{ Change. }

. . .

An intimidating, uncomfortable word for many of us. As human beings, we're creatures of habit. We like to remain in our comfort zones, where things are expected, and can plan for what's next. A zone where everything's laid out, in perfect order. And I get it, this feels safe, because everything's anticipated. And our comfort zones can feel great! Well, for a little while... When we get too comfortable, we stop taking risks, and forget to push ourselves. We simply remain in our little bubble of comfort.

. . .

Stepping outside our comfort zone and gradually implementing bits of change into our daily life is insanelyy healthy. I know- gross. Changing things up? Sounds like a lotta work. Now no need to panic; implementing change into our lives doesn't have to be a drastic, dramatic event whatsoever. Adding change can be as simple as waking up 15 minutes earlier during the week to have time to sit down and actually eat a breakfast, while listening to your favorite podcast. It can be taking a different route to school/work, or taking a 48 hour social media detox once every month from now on. It can literally be switching up your daily hairdo, and trying something bold you've never tried before. As minor as these things can seem, small acts of change added to our daily routines revives us. It helps detour us from the routines we become so acclimated too, on a day-to-day basis. It's like the cheesy, but very very true saying:

"Change is the only constant in life".

. . .

So this upcoming week, I challenge you to implement 3 acts of change, big or small. If this feels uncomfortable at first, good! This is normal :) Through the week, begin to access how you feel as you implement these changes. Journal about it, write it out. Notice how this makes you feel..

Taking risks, adding change, switching up the daily routine; all these things revive our spirits. This elevates confidence, and enlightens us. Try it out <3
